DSKF Bot — Terms of Service

1. Definitions

“Service” means DSKF Bot, which integrates PvP statistics, killfeeds, connection tracking, and other features into Discord.
“Subscription” means paid access to the Service’s full functionality.
“User” means any individual or entity that accesses or uses the Service.
“Content” means all data, logs, messages or materials uploaded, linked or stored via the Service.
“Privacy Policy” means the document located at privacy.html.

2. Description of Service

DSKF Bot connects to your Deadside server logs via FTP to provide PvP statistics, killfeeds, player connection tracking, and more inside Discord.

3. License Grant & Restrictions

Subject to your compliance with these terms, DSKF (“we”) grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your internal Discord server. You may not:

  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service;
  • Sell, rent, sublicense or redistribute the Service;
  • Use the Service for benchmarking, competitive analysis, or to build competing products;
  • Bypass or disable any security or access controls.

4. Usage Requirements

  • You must be an authorized administrator of the Discord server to configure the bot;
  • You may only link in-game names that belong to you;
  • All actions taken via the bot must comply with Discord’s Terms of Service and Community Guidelines;
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any credentials used to access the Service.

5. Subscriptions & Refund Policy

  • DSKF offers paid subscriptions to enable full functionality;
  • Subscription access is per Discord server (guild);
  • Failure to maintain an active subscription may result in feature limitations;
  • All subscription fees are non-refundable, except where required by applicable law.

6. Data Usage & Privacy

The bot reads and stores Deadside killfeed logs (CSV) and Deadside.log. Player stats, linked names, connection logs, and bounties are stored for server use only. Please see our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, and protect your data.

7. User Conduct

  • Users must not abuse bot functionality or spam commands;
  • Admins are expected to use moderation features responsibly;
  • Prohibited content includes anything unlawful, infringing, defamatory, or harassing;
  • You agree not to upload or link any content that violates third-party rights.

8. Intellectual Property

All code, logos, graphics, and trademarks associated with the Service are owned by DSKF or its licensors. You receive no ownership rights under this agreement. Any feedback or suggestions you provide become our property.

9. Content Ownership & License

You retain ownership of any in-game data, logs, or files you upload to or that we download from your Deadside server (including CSV killfeeds and Deadside.log files). By submitting or permitting the download of these files, you grant DSKF Bot and its successors an exclusive, perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to use, copy, modify, distribute, and display that content for any purpose relating to the Service (including hosting, analytics, product development, and marketing).

Once downloaded, these files become part of our Service’s data assets and may not be removed or requested back from DSKF Bot, except as required by law.

10. Modifications to the Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you for any modification, suspension or discontinuance.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, Discord’s policies, or for non-payment. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately.

12. Disclaimers of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall DSKF or its officers, directors, employees or agents be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data or use, arising out of or in connection with the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DSKF and its affiliates from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the Service or your breach of these terms.

15. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in London, UK.

16. Assignment

You may not assign or transfer your rights under these terms without our prior written consent. DSKF may freely assign its rights and obligations in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.

17. Force Majeure

Neither party shall be liable for delays or failures due to causes beyond its reasonable control, including acts of God, war, terrorism, labor disputes, or third-party outages.

18. Severability & Waiver

If any provision is held invalid, the remainder will continue in full force. Our failure to enforce any right is not a waiver.

19. Entire Agreement

These terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any other documents expressly referenced, constitute the entire agreement between you and DSKF regarding the Service.
